Together AI, the AI Native Cloud, seeks a Research Intern for its Model Shaping team in San Francisco or Amsterdam. You will explore advanced post-training methods, efficient training techniques, and robust evaluation of foundation models, collaborating with industry-leading engineers and researchers.

The program lasts 12 to 14 weeks, with compensation including housing stipends and competitive benefits. Applicants should be pursuing a degree in CS/EE and have hands-on DL framework experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in CS, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ML and DL fundamentals.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, etc.).
• Familiarity with the Transformer architecture and recent foundation model developments.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement novel techniques in model shaping and related focus areas.
• Design and conduct rigorous experiments to validate hypotheses.
• Document findings in scientific publications and blog posts.
• Integrate research results into Together products.
