Responsibilities

• Grant Preparation (pre-award): Responsible for all administrative aspects of grant preparation of sponsored research applications; manage deadlines and coordinate with Grants & Contracts.
• Portfolio Management (post-award): Financial management of sponsored and institutional funds; prepare reports and ensure spending adheres to budgets.
• Procurement: Approve and initiate purchase requests; verify funds and allocate expenses; review core and center service bills.
• Human Resources: Onboarding and ongoing processes including salary offers, visa applications, merit and promotions; manage allocations.
• Compliance: Advise on policies, ensure NIH/DFCI policy compliance, and manage time and effort reporting.
• Cores, Centers and Chargebacks: Assist in pricing, monthly billing, and revenue management.
