Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a Research Grants Coordinator to support development, submission, and administration of sponsored projects within the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology & Natural Resources.

The role partners with principal investigators, Sponsored Projects, and external stakeholders to ensure compliant grant processes and timely proposals. Strong organizational skills and knowledge of federal guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience, or Master’s degree and one year of related experience.
• Experience in pre- and post-award grant activities and budget/account management.
• Knowledge of sponsored-project administration and sponsor/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and submission of grant proposals to federal, state, private, nonprofit, and other sponsors.
• Develop and review proposal budgets, budget justifications, and supporting documents.
• Assist with continuations, award documents, sponsor reports, and project closeout activities.
• Provide training and guidance to faculty and staff on sponsored-project processes.
