Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a dedicated IP professional at its Livingston, NJ location to bridge Intellectual Property lawyers and R&D and Technical teams. The role focuses on developing and protecting Inteplast's intellectual properties across patents and trademarks.

You will identify opportunities, manage the IP portfolio, and advise on IP and technical issues spanning production to end product, while ensuring compliance with oversight entities and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in engineering: Material Science, Mechanical, or Polymer a plus.
• Engineering studies and research
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to work non-standard hours and manage stress

Responsibilities

• Identify potential patent or trademark opportunities
• Manage and maintain Inteplast's IP portfolio
• Advise on IP issues
• Advise on technical issues from production to end product
• Maintain certification and compliance with oversight entities
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
