Job summary

HAI Group is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student for a Research Analyst Intern role to support PAHRC with affordable housing research, analytics, data visualization, and database development.

The paid, full-time internship runs May 31 through mid-August, on-site at the Cheshire, CT office, with responsibilities in data collection, analysis, and report writing. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of statistics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in economics, statistics, sociology, political science, public policy, urban planning, or related field.
• Prior coursework in statistics and/or research methods.
• On-site in Cheshire, CT, Monday–Friday.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Data collection and management to build data sets for analysis.
• Conduct data analysis and literature reviews for PAHRC projects.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings through visuals and written materials.
• Participate in learning sessions to enhance research tools and industry knowledge.
