The research team of Dr. Madelyn Frumkin is pleased to invite applications to join our exciting and supportive research team for the position of Research Coordinator at Dartmouth College. The Research Coordinator will play a key role in Digital Biomarkers of Postoperative Pain study. This five-year, NIH -funded trial will use ecological momentary assessment ( EMA ), wearable biosensor, and passive smartphone data to study acute-to-chronic pain transitions after surgery. The objective is to identify modifiable risk factors of chronic post-surgical pain and impairment.
The Research Coordinator will be an integral member of the team at the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health ( CTBH ) at Dartmouth College and will work in close collaboration with the Principal Investigator, Dr. Madelyn Frumkin. The Research Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the development of study materials (e.g., IRB materials, Standard Operating Procedures), coordinating participant recruitment and retention, obtaining participant consent, managing data collection, conducting data quality checks, assisting with manuscript preparation, and coordinating overall project operations. The Research Coordinator will work primarily in an office setting in Lebanon, NH.
The successful candidate will excel in communication with study investigators, exhibit strong attention to detail, and possess exemplary organizational skills. The Research Coordinator will work effectively with study leadership and attend and present at meetings. There will be opportunities for the Research Coordinator to publish using lab data. This position is an excellent fit for individuals looking to gain experience with clinical populations, large-scale federally funded research, and/or digital phenotyping.
