• Collaborate with the Director of HPC resources to monitor compute and storage allocations.
• Assist researchers by assessing computing and data needs and identifying solutions.
• Orient researchers on on-premises HPC clusters and cloud resources, advising on best fit.
• Manage access to research computing resources and assist with software installations.
• Troubleshoot account issues, scripting errors, and memory allocation problems.
• Serve as escalation point for vendor interventions as needed.
• Help develop and conduct training sessions on HPC and cloud practices.
• Refer researchers with special data needs to appropriate resources.
