You will oversee grant preparation, budgets, protocols, and daily LCBR operations, supervising senior staff to maintain timelines and priorities for technical teams.

The role requires a Master’s degree in biochemistry, epidemiology, or related field, plus 4–6 years of related experience in clinical labs or research

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in biochemistry, epidemiology, or related field.
• Four to six years’ related experience including administrative experience in a clinical laboratory or clinical research setting.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale clinical trials and/or epidemiological studies.
• Experience with budget building and extramural training; preparing Manuals of Operations; supplying phlebotomy kits.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, implement, and lead a robust research enterprise with grants, contracts, and a fee-for-service account.
• Perform grant preparation, budget creation and management, and protocol development.
• Oversee daily operations of the Laboratory of Clinical Biochemistry Research (LCBR) and supervise senior staff.
• Act as key contact for outside agencies, representing the LCBR and making decisions for principal investigators.
