Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or equivalent.
• 7 years of research experience.
• Familiarity with general laboratory procedures.
• Expertise in specific procedures and instrumentation for research programs.
• Current knowledge of pertinent literature.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel to off-site locations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement experiments for ongoing projects in consultation with the PI.
• Organize and analyze data from research projects.
• Write manuscripts and grant applications.
• Lead and manage laboratory projects and investigations.
• Oversee data acquisition, analysis, and presentation of results.
• Train and supervise junior lab personnel and technicians.
• Prepare data for publication and for grant proposals.
• Assist in general laboratory operations and regulatory obligations.
• Participate in regular lab meetings and literature discussions.
