Job summary

The University of Kansas is seeking a Logistics Specialist to oversee centralized mail and package receiving, processing, tracking and distribution across the Lawrence campus. The role is based at the MRB loading dock and reports to the Associate Director for Facilities Services.

Expect 40/30/25/5 workload distribution across mail receipt, outgoing shipping, compliance, and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include delivering mail, assisting customers, using tracking systems, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency plus 4 years of office experience.
• 1 year of clerical, office support, mail services, shipping/receiving, customer service, or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license at time of hire and throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects and sorts mail for the Lawrence campus, including daily post office pickups.
• Delivers mail and packages using established routes and verifies recipients.
• Verifies recipients and researches discrepancies to ensure accurate deliveries.
