Job summary

Boys Town seeks an audiology professional to perform routine and advanced tests to determine hearing status and participate in human subjects research. The role includes supervising audiology staff or students and recruiting participants for approved studies.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure compliance with HIPAA and research protocols while contributing to data analysis, table/figure development, and manuscript preparation.

Qualifications

  • Master's or AUD degree in audiology from an ETB accredited university required.
  • Minimum of one year of practical experience in audiology required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of hearing disorders and of normal hearing function for subjects of all ages required.
  • Have or be eligible for appropriate state licensing required.
  • CITI certification within 30 days of transfer or hire required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide range of routine and advanced audiological tests to determine hearing status.
  • Participates in special projects and research studies using human research testing protocols.
  • Supervises the work of other audiologists or students as assigned by the Laboratory Coordinator.
  • Recruits subjects for participation in approved research projects.
