Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital invites applications for a full-time role in the Auditory Perceptual Encoding Laboratory. The position supports speech recognition research in cochlear implant patients, coordinating data collection, recruitment, scheduling, and equipment shipping, and assisting with lab procedures and data analysis.

Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in psychology, speech and hearing, biology or related fields, plus familiarity with lab safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least one year of college coursework or equivalent experience.
• Possible bilingual requirements depending on assignment.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire and CITI training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of stimuli and development of test procedures.
• Support data collection and data analysis in research studies.
• Calibrate, maintain and clean laboratory equipment and workspace.
• Recruit, schedule and test participants (animal or human subjects).
• Operate PCs and audio equipment; report findings to PI and staff.
