Job summary

Boys Town in Omaha, NE seeks an audiologist to join a multidisciplinary research staff. Independently provides research audiological services in hearing research using human subjects and manages multiple aspects of research in the assigned laboratory.

Performs tests to determine hearing status, recruits subjects, and collaborates with IRB and HRSC. Supervises students, contributes to data analysis and manuscript preparation, and upholds HIPAA protocols.

Qualifications

• Master’s or AUD degree in audiology from an ETB accredited university required.
• Minimum of one year of practical experience in audiology.
• Knowledge of hearing disorders and normal hearing function for all ages.
• State licensing eligibility required.
• CITI certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced audiological tests to determine hearing status.
• Recruits subjects and participates in human research testing protocols.
• Supervises audiologists or students as assigned.
• Assist with data analysis, tables/figures, and manuscript preparation.
