Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Oceanography or Marine Sciences required or ABD with expected completion before appointment date.
  • Experience in oceanography observational skills.
  • Experience in ecological/water quality numerical modeling experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a program in ecological numerical modeling.
  • Conduct the ADCP, Wave and Water Quality observations in the Maryland Coastal Bays.
  • Run the Finite Volume Coastal Ocean Modeling and CE-QUAL-ICM Water Quality Modeling.
  • Co-supervise graduate students and undergraduate students.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
