Job summary

AccuScan Sciences seeks a Research Associate to support assay development and clinical validation. You will assist in experimental design, data collection, and analysis while collaborating with scientists to advance our MRD assay.

The role involves processing specimens, preparing samples, and performing routine molecular biology workflows under supervision, with emphasis on quality records and equipment upkeep. Strong foundational lab skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of lab experience.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory safety and protocol.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques (PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA isolation).
• Proficiency with data entry, spreadsheets, and document preparation.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process specimen shipments.
• Prepare samples for routine testing and analysis.
• Conduct testing under supervision of a senior staff.
• Perform routine technical procedures according to SOPs.
• Contribute to workflow development in molecular biology and genomics.
• Maintain detailed, high-quality lab notebooks.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment.
• Support safety and waste management tasks.
• Assist with technical decisions and problem solving.
• Adjust work schedule to meet milestones.
