Job summary

Dispatch Biotherapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate/Associate Scientist in Molecular Analytics to support analytical method development for viral vectors, CAR T cells, and related products.

The role emphasizes qPCR/ddPCR, NGS-based assays, and cross-functional collaboration with senior scientists in a fast-paced laboratory. You will progressively take on greater independence in experimental design, data interpretation, and troubleshooting while contributing to method transfer and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life science field with 6+ months of lab experience.
Foundational molecular biology skills: PCR/qPCR/ddPCR, nucleic acid extraction, electrophoresis, NGS.
Ability to follow SOPs and document data accurately.
Strong attention to detail and timely data handling.
Willingness to learn new techniques and work in a team.
Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Develop, qualify, and transfer analytical methods for viral vectors, CAR T cells, and related products.
Design experiments with increasing independence and robust controls.
Perform routine testing (qPCR, ddPCR, NGS) for release, stability, and characterization.
Provide analytical support to cross-functional teams and document results.
Record data in ELN and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Troubleshoot routine issues and support method transfer with partners.
Present results to supervisors and teams; participate in seminars and meetings.
Maintain lab equipment, supplies, and safety compliance.
Pursue ongoing scientific and professional development.
