Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Scientist to support drug development by applying analytical chemistry to discovery and characterization of peptide candidates and formulations. You will execute and optimise peptide assays, develop QC methods, and provide wet-lab support for in‑vitro teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires MSc or PhD in chemistry/biochemistry or related Life Sciences, with experience in peptide/protein analysis and LCMS when available.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD with experience in analytical chemistry or related life sciences.
• Wet lab experience in peptide or protein research and analytical method development.
• Experience with LC (RP/SEC-HPLC) and particle size analysis (DLS/SLS).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute and optimise assays to characterise peptides and peptide formulations.
• Develop novel assays to address future bioanalysis needs.
• Develop QC testing and characterisation assays.
• Provide wet lab support for in‑vitro scientists.
• Maintain accurate records and analyse large datasets for reports.
