Job summary

VRS Recruitment is seeking an experienced analytical chemist for a growing pharmaceutical organization developing peptide-based therapeutics in Carlsbad, CA. The role focuses on developing, validating, and transferring LC-MS, HPLC, and GC methods for raw materials and peptide products within GMP-regulated drug development.

The candidate will perform routine and non-routine testing, investigate analytical issues, and prepare technical/regulatory reports, SOPs, and CMC documentation while

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with LC-MS, HPLC, and GC method development and validation.
• Working knowledge of GMP, ICH/FDA validation guidelines, and the drug development process would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods for raw materials and peptide products using LC-MS, HPLC, and GC.
• Perform routine and non-routine testing, investigate analytical issues, and prepare technical reports and regulatory documentation.
• Support quality and CMC activities by authoring SOPs, reviewing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
