Job summary

Kincell Bio in Gainesville, FL, is seeking a Temporary Research Associate II to support process development activities and perform routine laboratory maintenance.   • High school diploma and 3 years’ experience, or AS + 1 year, or BS in life sciences.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and work ethic.
  • Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to follow defined procedures and instructions in written and oral form.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and prioritization.

Responsibilities

  • Performs process development operations under supervision of senior personnel.
  • Assists in preparing meeting agendas and distributing notes and deliverables.
  • Drafting and reviewing technical documents.
  • Laboratory maintenance and material management.
  • Maintenance of 5S and Kanban systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to carry out a variety of technical instructions in written, oral, mathematical, and diagram form

Contract Duration

  • This is a three-month contract position providing coverage for an employee’s parental leave.

  • This is asite-based position located in Gainesville, FL, and it will require some non-standard working hours, including early morning or late evening.
