Job summary

City of Hope Beckman Research Institute seeks a Research Associate II to support CAR T-cell therapies in next-gen cancer models. You will culture T cells, develop organoid and tumor-on-a-chip platforms, and perform functional assays with ELISAs.

The role includes flow cytometry, data analysis, murine tissue work, and ensuring GLP-compliant lab practices. A Bachelor's degree with related experience is required; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 1+ year related experience with a Master’s degree.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in lab work and recordkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with cellular immunology and GLP practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue culture using aseptic techniques and maintain cell lines.
• Support development of organoid models and tumor-on-a-chip platforms.
• Conduct T cell functional assays including cytotoxicity and cytokine production.
• Perform multicolor flow cytometry staining and data analysis.
• Assist with murine surgical procedures and tissue harvesting.
• Maintain and update laboratory protocols and GLP-compliant documentation.
