Job summary

The Broad Institute is seeking a Research Associate II to investigate host interactions with respiratory viruses in vivo, aiming to develop host-directed therapies against pan-respiratory viruses. The role involves designing and performing wet lab experiments and analyzing data in collaboration with scientists on the CISID team.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, contributing to protocols, and sharing findings in team meetings.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in a relevant field with 2+ years of research experience is preferred.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
• Hands-on experience with virological and immunological assays.
• Ability to analyze quantitative data and interpret results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct wet lab experiments for host interaction with respiratory viruses.
• Maintain detailed records, protocols, and documentation for the project.
• Collaborate with experimentalists and computational biologists.
• Present results at weekly team meetings and aid in planning.
• Contribute to publications and intellectual property.
