Job summary

Yale University is seeking a Research Associate to provide statistical analysis support for translational research projects within the Stress Center of the Department of Psychiatry.

The role acts as the primary interface between data collection, management, and analysis across multi-level data streams, coordinating with university bodies and collaborating labs to ensure robust analyses and compliant study conduct.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Data Science, or related field; and at least 1 year of analysis on longitudinal/intervention clinical protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or Psychology with relevant analysis experience.
• Experience with data management, monitoring, and IRB processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data management and monitoring procedures for multiple trials.
• Coordinate with PI, research assistants, and safety officers to ensure study compliance.
• Perform statistical analyses and prepare reports and manuscripts.
• Support grant writing and dissemination of findings.
• Maintain documentation of methods and results.
• Interact with external collaborators to discuss methods and product information.
• Oversee study progress and ensure high data quality.
• Contribute to protocol development and QA procedures.
