Job summary

jobr.pro is seeking a Research Associate 1 to join the RUO Accessioning team. This role involves routine activities such as receiving, cataloging, and shipping biological samples for research. Candidates must have a BS/BA in biological science and familiarity with laboratory practices.

The position offers a competitive pay rate of $25 to $30 per hour and emphasizes adherence to federal regulations and SOPs in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Familiar with good pipetting practices, both single and multi-channel.
• Experience with laboratory automation is a plus.
• Ability to operate independently under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive and catalog shipments of biological samples.
• Perform routine laboratory equipment maintenance.
• Track sample inventory using LIMS and Google Sheets.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations.
