Job summary

Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Research Analyst I to support bioanalysis across multiple matrices. The role is hands-on and requires close collaboration with senior staff in a fast-paced environment focused on teamwork, quality data and speed.

Education requires a BS/BA in a scientific field; related lab experience is preferred. Proficiency with Excel/Word/PowerPoint and laboratory calculations is expected. The pay range is $25-26/hour, with location-based variation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or equivalent.
• Related laboratory experience preferred in pharma or contract lab.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and standard calculations.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine sample preparation procedures.
• Use analytical instrumentation with guidance from senior staff.
• Identify and report difficulties in sample prep processes.
• Ensure raw data records are accurate, complete and well organized.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
