Job summary

Altasciences is seeking an experienced technician to perform procedures on laboratory animals in a GLP environment. You will assist with data collection, record keeping, and ensuring animal welfare following SOPs and protocols.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a BS/BA in a scientific discipline preferred and ALAT certification preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and strong attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• BS/BA in a scientific discipline preferred.
• ALAT certification preferred; MS Office suite experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical procedures on study and stock animals following SOPs and Protocols.
• Assist with data collection and recording of study data in GLP environment.
• Monitor animal health, behavior, and welfare; report changes to supervisors.
• Set up for procedures and maintain equipment and ancillaries.
