Altasciences is seeking a Formulations Tech in Scranton, PA to prepare, sample, and dispense complex dose formulations including solutions and suspensions. You will handle test materials, maintain chain of custody, and support GLP-compliant workflows while documenting data accurately in study notebooks.

The role requires a BS in a scientific discipline (or related experience) with 0–1 years in a regulated environment.

About The RoleAs a Formulations Tech your primary responsibilities include performing basic test and control article formulation, dose preparation and dispensing. Also responsible for receiving test and disposition of test and control articles or associated materials and maintaining chain of custody documentation associated with test and control materials, including inventory control.What You'll Do HerePrepare, sample, and dispense more complex dose formulations including solutions and suspensions with guidance.Receive test materials, reagents, review, and reconcile test material receipt.Participate in disposition of formulation and test materials.Document and review raw data accurately while preparing and maintaining study notebooks.Reviews protocols and provides formulation comments.Prepare and ship materials as needed.Replenish supplies and maintains cleanliness of the laboratory and equipment.Understand and follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).May assist in study finalization and inventory of test materials in Dispense. (Varies by site)May cross train to support pharmacy operations, i.e. dispense controlled substances.
