The role involves conducting pharmacokinetics and toxicity studies, protein purification and enzyme assays, and assisting with animal studies under lab leadership. The ideal candidate will maintain the lab environment, manage records, perform literature reviews, and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and equipment.
• Knowledge of computers and computer software related to the position.

• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• 25% Conduct pharmacokinetics and toxicity studies, in vitro-in vivo correlations, animal models of pathology, cell cultures.
• 25% Conduct protein purification and enzyme assay.
• 20% Work with lab leadership and project managers to prepare for and execute assigned pharmacology studies; manage environment for laboratory animals.
• 15% Perform routine animal husbandry: cage changing, health monitoring, food/water, breeding; follow SOPs.
• 5% Conduct literature searches and reviews and update knowledge and skills.
• 5% Maintain accurate and complete records of all findings.
• 5% Performs other duties as assigned.
