Responsibilities include planning and conducting lab experiments, training staff, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports and manuscripts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in a research setting preferred (university, industry, healthcare or hospital laboratory).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Research Scientist and team to plan, design, and conduct laboratory experiments.
• Train lab members in basic science techniques.
• Collect, record, and analyze research data using established laboratory methods.
• Conduct literature reviews to support research design, protocols, grant applications, and manuscript preparation.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory materials, ensuring proper labeling, storage and documentation.
• Maintain accurate research records and ensure data confidentiality and security.
• Prepare, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Procure supplies and track lab expenses.
• Participate in research team meetings and stay informed on developments in the field.
