Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Research Assistant II to support the GIM Research team in Boston, MA. The RA2 will assist with recruitment, scheduling, data collection, and administrative tasks across multi-site projects focused on PrEP delivery in hospitalized PWUD.

This role involves IRB coordination, data management, and manuscript support. The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and strong organizational, communication, and data handling skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supports administrative aspects of the research study and manages program records.
• Schedules meetings and coordinates with staff from multiple sites.
• Assists with data collection, data entry, and quality control of study materials.
• Recruits and screens study participants, explains procedures and obtains consent.
• Prepares reports, budgets, and supports IRB submissions and correspondence.
