The Research Assistant I at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies joins the Guldner Lab to support studies on intercellular protein communication and aging. You will perform standard molecular biology tasks, manage samples, and assist with mouse-related experiments under supervision.

You will maintain records, follow protocols, and share results with the team while gaining training on lab techniques and safety practices in a leading research environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field required.
• A minimum of 2 years in a scientific role if degree is not in life sciences.
• Proficiency with basic software tools and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine molecular and cellular biology procedures.
• Support mouse-related experiments including tissue collection.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with data analysis and presentation.
