Job Summary

Under supervision, the clinical research assistant will work closely with senior staff and principal investigators, handling daily project execution, data management, and quality assurance across multiple studies. Current projects include the COPPAR for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, and BRASS for Rheumatoid Arthritis, focusing on identifying risk factors.

Qualifications

Principal Duties:

  1. Contact and collect data from subjects, including administering questionnaires in person or by phone.
  2. Code and enter data as per study protocols.
  3. Identify and recruit subjects based on study criteria, review medical records, and maintain organized databases.
  4. Interact with clinic staff, physicians, and patients for recruitment.
  5. Assist in designing questionnaires, surveys, and other research instruments, and help with manuscript editing.
  6. Contribute to reports, IRB documents, and prepare graphics.
  7. Communicate regularly with the PI and team about research progress.
  8. Manage biospecimen storage, perform QC, and update related databases.
  9. Support data cleaning and discrepancy correction.
  10. Assist with participant newsletters and other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Research experience with questionnaires/patient data preferred
