Must commit to at least 2 years in this position.

Must commit to 8 hours of in-person work Monday-Friday. Work flexibility can be arranged.

Job description: To work on RNA research, focusing on developing new technologies for direct sequencing of RNA molecules in human transcriptomes, impacting human health and disease (cancer, neurodegeneration).

The techniques in use: Nanopore sequencing, Illumina sequencing, genome-wide data analysis, RNA analysis using denaturing PAGE/urea gels, sequencing gels, SDS/PAGE gels for proteins, gene cloning, plasmid construction, DNA and RNA extraction. No animal work required.
