Job summary

Green Life Science in Chicago is seeking a Research Assistant to support patient visits, study procedures and documentation across clinical trial operations.

The role offers hands-on experience with phlebotomy, ECGs and adherence to GCP, IRB requirements, and source documentation. You will work with CRCs, investigators and sponsors, contributing to patient care, data integrity and study success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Science or relevant clinical research experience.
• 1–3+ years of clinical or biological research experience preferred.
• Hands-on phlebotomy and ECG experience.
• Strong understanding of GCP, clinical research and study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical trial visits and protocol-specific procedures.
• Assist with patient recruitment, screening and scheduling.
• Support informed consent activities in line with GCP and IRB requirements.
• Collect and document patient assessments, observations and test results.
• Maintain source documentation and CRFs.
• Report adverse events and other study-related issues appropriately.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support clinical trial visits and protocol-specific procedures
• Assist with patient recruitment, screening and scheduling
• Support informed consent activities in line with GCP and IRB requirements
• Collect and document patient assessments, observations and test results
• Maintain accurate source documentation and CRFs
• Support participant visits and study procedures
• Perform phlebotomy, ECGs and other technical procedures as required by protocol
• Process and handle clinical samples and study materials
• Support study drug, lab supply and clinical trial material accountability
• Report adverse events and other study‑related issues appropriately
• Communicate with CRCs, Team Leads, Investigators, sponsors and other site staff
• Maintain patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance
• Participate in training and ongoing professional development

What We’re Looking For

• Associate degree in Science or relevant clinical research experience
• 1–3+ years of clinical or biological research experience preferred
