Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Development/Quality Control Director to create formulations for various dosage forms, including liquids, softgels, capsules, and powders.
• Partner with purchasing and management teams to source raw materials and assess cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain precise project records and collaborate with QA for documentation.
• Conduct QC analytical testing using GC, HPLC, and ICP-MS.
• Provide training and support for lab personnel and manage lab resources.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve product and ingredient issues.
• Execute and oversee bench-top, pilot, and manufacturing scale-up batches.
• Ensure the maintenance and sanitation of lab equipment.
• Adhere to company policies, SOPs, and cGMPs.

Qualifications:

• BSc in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition/Dietetics, or related
• +4 years of experience in product development in pharma or nutraceuticals
• Strong understanding of ingredient and formulation costing
• Proficient in documentation and time management and strong teamwork skills
• Familiarity with GMPs and DSHEA regulations is preferred
