Marquette Associates in Chicago seeks a Research Analyst with a strong understanding of private markets to lead due diligence meetings and present investment recommendations with conviction and supporting analysis. • Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years investment related experience
• Completion of or progress towards CFA or CAIA
• Knowledge of the private equity industry and managers
• Strong client service experience and ability to present information effectively and professionally
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized with ability to work independently to meet deadlines
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and react to change positively
• Strong Microsoft Office application skills with the ability to quickly learn new software applications
• Critical thinking skills: a self-starter with excellent follow-up abilities
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills

The Research Analyst will possess a strong understanding of the private market landscape and manager due diligence. The Research Analyst will lead and conduct due diligence meetings and express investment recommendations with conviction and support.

Compensation:

The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan, which includes a target bonus of 15% of base salary.
