Mercor is seeking detail-oriented individuals with 1-2 years of experience in STEM or non-STEM fields, or currently enrolled postgraduate students, to support a research project with a leading AI lab. Your role will involve benchmarking and improving cutting-edge AI models.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree, or have 2-3 years of relevant experience plus a Bachelor's from a prestigious institution
• Strong online research and communication skills
• Ability to gather and clearly summarize information from diverse sources
• Interdisciplinary degree is a plus
• Fully remote, asynchronous, part-time role (10-20 hours/week)
• Responsibilities include creating research questions, answers, and evaluation materials to train advanced language models
• Structured responsibilities with low pressure compared to internships or full-time roles
• Project duration is several months; full commitment not required
• Immediate start preferred
