Position: Operations Research Analyst, Senior

Locations: Mechanicsburg, PA, Kittery, ME, or Remote

Description

The Operations Research Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements as part of the system development lifecycle and changes being contemplated to a portfolio of systems. The analyst will provide research frameworks, conduct statistical analysis, simulate, and build analytical models that predict outcomes of design decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
• Over 7 years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Experience supporting Department of Navy logistics and supply chain systems or similar legacy portfolios (preferred)
• Active secret security clearance (required)
• Proven experience with analysis and modeling to solve problems
• Operational knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and acquisition management systems
• Ability to document frameworks and defend methodologies
• Experience with project management artifacts and technical documentation
• Knowledge of information management systems and emerging technologies
• Experience presenting to stakeholders and leaders
• Ability to conduct analysis of alternatives
• Strong skills in Excel or other modeling tools
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration skills
