About The Position

We seek a detail-oriented Analyst for our investment team, combining trading execution, research, and strategic projects—perfect for someone who values precision and analytical thinking.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Trading Operations (40%)
2. Execute trade requests accurately within SLAs
3. Process trade instructions and portfolio rebalances
4. Review trades, submit to custodians, monitor execution
5. Confirm allocations and household setups
6. Respond to inquiries professionally
7. Maintain detailed records using monday.com

1. Investment Research & Analysis (40%)
2. Support portfolio analyses and data requests
3. Prepare asset class research reports
4. Maintain model documentation
5. Contribute to internal research content

1. Strategic Projects & Automation (20%)
2. Lead or support process improvements and automation
3. Manage the model due diligence process
4. Enhance workflows and operational efficiency
5. Support data and project needs for the Investment Policy Committee

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years experience in trading or investment research
• Series 7 & 66 or Series 65
• Understanding of portfolio management and trading
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Tech-savviness and quick learning
• Experience with trading platforms and systems
• Strong time management skills under deadlines
• Self-directed project management skills
• Authorized to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Orion, Eclipse, or Charles Schwab
• Using AI tools in trading
• Passed CFA Level 1, enrolled in Level 2

Metrics

• Process 25-30% of total trades daily

• Start: Immediately
• Type: Full-time, 40-45 hrs/week, flexible schedule
• Location: Remote or Bozeman, MT
• Overtime: Non-exempt, eligible for overtime
• Team: XYPN Invest
• Reports To: Director of Investment Services
• Travel: Up to 10%
