The University of Michigan is seeking a Research Administration Associate in Ann Arbor to provide pre-award and post-award grant support. This full-time position entails assisting faculty with grant development, managing submissions, and ensuring compliance with funding agencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a bachelor's degree, along with relevant experience in grant management.

This individual will provide pre-award and post-award grant support to faculty and trainees as a member of the research administration team in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Kresge Hearing Research Institute.
Pre-award responsibilities include assisting faculty and trainees in the development, preparation, and timely submission of grant and contract proposals to various sponsors including NIH, DOD, NSF, foundations and industry as well as internal sponsors.
Post-award responsibilities include assisting faculty with progress reports, establishing subcontracts to other institutions, and assisting faculty with post award change requests including rebudgeting and extensions.
