Job summary

Metrocrest Services seeks a dependable Driver/Porter for Metrocrest Resale, the nonprofit resale shop supporting the organization’s mission. You will interact with donors and customers in homes, in-store, and on the delivery truck, delivering excellent service while loading, unloading, and guiding volunteers.

The role reports to the Back of House Supervisor and Store Manager, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and community impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Able to work Tuesday through Saturday 8:45 AM-5:15 PM
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing 50+ pounds for 7+ hours
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• At least 1 year of experience operating a non-CDL box truck

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate the Metrocrest Resale delivery truck safely and professionally.
• Assist with loading/unloading and moving furniture.
• Provide receipts to donors and maintain mileage logs.
• Maintain daily pickup/delivery schedule and communicate changes.
• Represent Metrocrest Services with core values.
