Job summary

Metrocrest Services is seeking a Sales Associate/Cashier for the Metrocrest Resale thrift shop to provide excellent customer service and handle transactions in a fast-paced environment.

This onsite, full-time role pays $17 per hour starting, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, parental leave, and training opportunities. Location is the Resale store, operating 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including Monday-Saturday 9:00 AM–6:30 PM
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand and move for 6.5 hours per shift
• 2 years of customer service experience
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive customer experience from start to finish
• Enter data into cash register by itemizing and totaling purchases
• Provide pricing information and ensure store products are in the proper place
• Resolve customer issues, answer questions, and explain return/guarantee policies
• Contribute to Resale Store and Agency goals by completing assignments and working with the team
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
