Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a Requirements Analyst Level 2 for the Fort Meade, MD area. You will turn customer needs into clear requirements, collaborate with IT experts, and support project planning and cost estimation to drive mission-focused IT programs.

As a liaison between customers and implementation teams, you will maintain high-quality documentation, validate requirements, and ensure regulatory compliance for IT solutions. U.S. Citizens with TS/SCI Polygraph are required.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma
  • Two years experience in requirement gathering within the Federal Government or Intelligence Community
  • Basic knowledge of requirements management, elicitation, and information technology

Responsibilities

  • Elicits and analyzes IT requirements to determine customer needs.
  • Interfaces with IT professionals to produce, store, communicate, and disseminate information as it relates to software applications and computer hardware.
  • Serves as a liaison between customers and implementation organizations.
  • Directly contributes to IT program/project efforts (e.g., validating, tracking, eliciting, and documenting requirements).
  • Reports on technical progress, identifies resolution for problem areas, and writes and reviews technical documentation.

Salary Range: **$90,000 TO $106,000 per year

** Starting salary is based on minimum education and years of experience and increases based on education and/or experience.

The Requirements Analyst plays a key role in shaping impactful IT solutions across the Extended Enterprise—turning customer needs into clear, actionable requirements and enabling teams to build the right technology. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with IT experts, bridge communication between customers and implementation teams, support project planning and cost estimation, and ensure requirements are accurately documented from start to finish. You'll use your exceptional communication skills to clarify complex technical details, resolve challenges, and maintain high‑quality documentation—all while helping drive mission‑focused IT programs forward.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to beU.S. Citizensandpossess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Qualifications

Required Education & Years of Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma
  • Two (2) years experience in requirement gathering or of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government or within the Intelligence Community.
  • Requirements Analyst shall have basic knowledge of the requirements management, requirements elicitation, and information technology.

Capabilities

  • Elicit requirements from customers.
  • Record requirements that may be documented in various forms (i.e., Remedy, SM 7, and Templates).
  • Create and deliver statistical data.
  • Write and collect requirement procedures.
  • Review requirements and determine if requirements are clear, complete, consistent, and advise with resolving any conflicts.
  • Prepare requirement status reviews and other formal reviews.
  • Review and provide recommendations for appropriate provisioning of requirements.
  • Verify compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements, to avoid misroutes of requirements.
  • Communicate issues and identify solutions.
  • Verify that requirements strategies are addressed.
