Job Description

A day in the life of an Experienced Represented Bodily Injury Adjuster involves investigating automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles that result in property damage and/or bodily injury, often involving attorneys. You will work remotely from your home, handling your responsibilities efficiently. Your tasks include assessing coverage, liability, and damages, and providing exceptional customer service through various channels such as calls, email, and texts. Utilizing innovative platforms and tools, you will negotiate fair injury settlements with all parties involved.

Your roles throughout the day include:

• The Customer Service Expert- demonstrating empathy, empowerment, and restoration in each Casualty claim, and being a compassionate, clear, and committed partner.
• The Investigator- independently investigating casualty claims by reviewing damages and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
• The Effective Communicator- using phone, email, and video chat to guide customers through a fast, fair, and easy claims process, respecting their communication preferences.
• The Negotiator- evaluating and negotiating claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants, following legal and business standards, including handling challenging situations tactfully.
• The Problem Solver- utilizing estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms with strong critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• The Recorder- ensuring timely, accurate documentation in the claims system to protect the company financially and maintain clear records.

Work Location:

Remote Home-Based Work

This role is remote within the United States, excluding California, Alaska, and Hawaii. Candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones are preferred.

Requirements for Working from Home:

• A dedicated, private workspace
• Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up
• Appropriate work surface and seating

• Connectivity reimbursement of $80/month

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience handling represented bodily injury claims
• Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability
• Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with claims evaluation tools and platforms

Licensing Notice:

• May require obtaining an adjuster or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, with support from the company.

Compensation:

Annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $82,542.50, based on experience and qualifications. Eligible for a $1,000 licensing sign-on bonus if licensed.
