Role Overview:

As an Experienced Represented Bodily Injury Adjuster, your main focus will be investigating automobile accidents involving property damage and/or bodily injury, often involving attorneys. This remote role allows you to work from home while assessing coverage, liability, and damages, providing exceptional customer service through various communication channels. You will negotiate injury settlements using innovative platforms and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Demonstrate empathy, clarity, and commitment during each Casualty claim.
  • Investigation: Independently review damage and interpret policies to determine coverage.
  • Communication: Use phone, email, and video chat to guide customers through the claims process.
  • Negotiation: Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with all parties involved.
  • Problem Solving: Utilize various tools and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure accurate documentation and policy compliance in claims systems.

Work Location:

This is a remote, home-based position within the United States, excluding California, Alaska, and Hawaii. Preference is given to candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Home Office Requirements:

  • Dedicated, distraction-free workspace
  • Internet bandwidth of at least 50 MB down/5 MB up
  • Proper work surface and seating

What Allstate Provides:

  • All necessary equipment (laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, mouse)
  • Monthly internet reimbursement of $80

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience handling represented bodily injury claims
  • Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability
  • Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with claims evaluation tools and platforms

Licensing:

  • May require obtaining an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, if applicable.

Compensation:

Annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $82,542.50, based on experience. Eligible for a $1,000 licensing sign-on bonus if licensed.
