Job Description

A day in the life of an Experienced Represented Bodily Injury Adjuster involves investigating automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles, which result in property damage and/or bodily injury with an attorney involved. You will work remotely from your home, efficiently handling your responsibilities. Your tasks include assessing coverage, liability, and damages while providing exceptional customer service. Communication with customers and attorneys will occur via voice calls, email, and text messages. You will use innovative platforms and tools to negotiate fair injury settlements.

Your roles include:

  • The Customer Service Expert – demonstrating empathy, clarity, and commitment in each Casualty claim, embodying Allstate’s Claims Culture.
  • The Investigator – independently investigating casualty claims by reviewing damages and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
  • The Effective Communicator – using phone, email, and video chat to guide customers through claims efficiently, respecting their communication preferences.
  • The Negotiator – evaluating and negotiating claim settlements with all parties, applying legal and standard methodologies.
  • The Problem Solver – utilizing tools like estimate platforms and settlement systems with critical thinking skills.
  • The Recorder – ensuring accurate documentation and policy execution to protect the company financially.

Work Location: Remote Home-Based Work

This role is remote within the US, excluding California, Alaska, and Hawaii. Preference for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones.

Requirements for remote work include:

  • A dedicated, private workspace
  • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up
  • Appropriate work surface and seating

Licensing Notice:

  • May require obtaining an adjuster or appraiser license within 60 days of hire.

Compensation: $50,000 - $82,542.50 annually, based on experience. Eligible for a $1,000 licensing sign-on bonus if licensed.
