The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking a Representative for Special Events to support the department on a variety of event-related tasks and guest services. You will greet guests, assist with inventory, and contribute to a professional, safe environment for all events.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ months in Special Events or related fields, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. You must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license as required by law or policy.
• 6+ months of experience in Special Events or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service in a similar resort setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Representative – Special Events is to provide support to the Special Events Department as needed.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Must be able to
