Grounded by our mission and strengthened by the global YMCA movement we will elevate our people, purpose, partnerships and promise.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMaintain courteous, friendly, helpful attitude in a positive manner towards participants, coaches and parents, while officiating games and keeping safety as the number one priorityKeep an orderly playing environment where games start and end on time; be aware of surrounding weather conditions and delays or postpone games as determined by the YMCA guidelinesRecite sports oath with players and coaches before each game; evaluate coaches and program quality a minimum of twice during the season (mid-season and end of season); report any inappropriate or problematic behavior, other observations and/or complaints to supervisorFollow and enforce all YMCA procedures and policies, including YMCA sport model and sport specific rules, personnel guidelines, safety guidelines, facility access procedures and membership policies.
