Job summary

The YMCA of Metro Denver is hiring an Experience Representative at the Southwest YMCA location. You’ll greet members, answer questions, and help guests find programs and resources that fit their goals, creating a welcoming environment.

You’ll conduct member tours, process applications, and support membership growth while ensuring safety and cleanliness. Flexible schedules include early mornings, occasional evenings and weekend events like Kids Night Out, with training provided.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prefer 1+ years of relevant experience in customer service or front desk roles.
  • Ability to interact positively with diverse populations.
  • Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage members, guests, and visitors in a caring, inclusive way.
  • Provide information about membership options, programs, and services.
  • Handle member check-ins and inquiries, process applications, and enter data accurately.
  • Support program registration, outreach, tours, and community outreach to grow membership.
  • Ensure building safety, cleanliness, and welcoming environment; may act as manager on duty.

Schedule:This is a full-time opening position at the Southwest location with a regular schedule of: 5:15 AM – 1:15 PMTo support program and team needs, this position also requires some schedule flexibility, including:Up to four shifts per month from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM in place of the regular opening shift.Participation in Kids Night Out (KNO) once per month, typically held on a Saturday from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.Candidates should be comfortable with the early-morning opening schedule and able to meet these recurring schedule requirements.At the YMCA, we believe that strengthening community starts with you. The incumbent will handle membership sales and administrative items while demonstrating enthusiasm to members and guests. The Representative works alongside the YMCA Center team to deliver world-class customer service and relationship building skills to create a welcoming environment at the YMCA.
