Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced PBX/telecommunications specialist to triage 18 incoming lines and manage all code calls and intercom paging hospital-wide.

You will greet visitors, route calls, assist with document processing, and help train others on the console to ensure smooth operations. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required; prior multi-line/PBX experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year in customer service area requiring data entry, telecommunications, application and customer interaction.
• 1 year in Teleservices area.
• 1 year Multi-line/PBX environment.

Job Summary

Triages 18 incoming lines through the PBX for multiple BMH facilities. Responsible for all code calls, disaster calls and intercom paging hospital wide. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

Special Skills

Basic computer skills. Experience with office equipment, telephone systems and multiple computer applications. Excellent PBX skills.
