Job summary

Whizz is seeking a Repossession Specialist in Washington DC to collect and retrieve electric bicycles and mopeds from debtors. This 1099 contract role requires strong communication with debtors and collaboration with other departments.

You will manage tasks using CRM, Google Sheets/Excel, and Notion, and may travel across DC for day trips. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in security or related fields, excellent multitasking and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to use a personal vehicle for

• Travel within Washington DC and surrounding areas for day trips.

We are currently looking for a Repossession Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct round trips to collect and retrieve electric bicycles, mopeds from debtors
• Confidently communicate with debtors regarding outstanding balances and e-bike collections
• Manage tasks using CRM, Google Sheets/Excel, and Notion software
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by other departments
• Ability to effectively communicate with law enforcement and delinquent customers
• Willingness to work in various parts of Washington DC travel within the state and other cities for day trips

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment
• 1 years of experience in security, police, army, or a related field
• Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, organization, and interpersonal abilities
• Car ownership (preferably a bigger car to move bikes) and willingness to use it for the job
• Former or retired law enforcement experience is strongly preferred

Benefits

Type of Employment: 1099 contract

Pay: $20 per hour + payment per successful recovery, higher pay rate as per recovery volume.
